WORK

Merchandising collection inspired by one of Galileo Galilei's greatest discoveries: Jupiter's moons.

This was the main project I worked on during my design internship at the European Space Agency (ESA) in which I was involved from the conceptualisation phase to the development of the communication strategy.

The chosen aesthetic uses geometric shapes to reflect the unique properties of each of the moons.

Ganymede, the sole moon in the solar system with a magnetic field, inspired a geometric shape reminiscent of compass needles, highlighting its unique magnetic properties.

The inverted triangle is a symbol with many meanings. It alludes to motherhood versus fatherhood, femininity versus masculinity, and lunar versus solar.

Io, with the most active volcanoes in our solar system, has a highly toxic atmosphere and surface. The chosen geometric shape is inspired by toxic hazard warning signs.

Europa harbors a liquid water ocean beneath a complete ice layer. That's why the three triangles in the background draw inspiration from the shapes of icebergs and icicles.

Finally, for the launch of the collection we created animations for Instagram Stories.
