Everyone has sung in the car at some point, but few people know that it's actually a place with really good acoustic characteristics for doing so. It's a relatively small space that contains materials like foam or fabric that absorb sound, has almost no parallel surfaces that create echoes, and is quite well-insulated from external noise.

This makes car cabins perfect recording booths for those who can't afford to record in a professional studio. Something we wanted to prove with Sound Seat.

Our goal was to make Seat the pioneer in the automotive world by recording a song inside a Seat Ibiza. Collaborating with Stay Homas, a Barcelona-based group that crafted their songs with no professional recording gear, we set out to break new ground.

To generate buzz for this initiative, we kicked off with a teaser campaign. Following the song's release, we unveiled the behind-the-scenes process and shared tutorials, enabling followers to transform their Seat Ibiza into rolling recording studios.
